LIMITED WARRANTY
Congratulations on your new purchase of LG HI-MACS solid surface product. LG HI-MACS expressly warrants that it will repair or replace this product, free of charge, if it fails due to any manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship during the first 10 years after initial installation. The warranty covers all HI-MACS products, including sheet goods, sinks and lavatory bowls. The warranty shall not apply to damage caused by:
1. Failure to follow procedures recommended in the Fabrication Guide Book for transportation, storage, handling, fabrication, or maintenance; 2. Physical abuse, accidents or misuse; 3. Exposure to excessive heat; 4. Faulty or improper installation, including seams.
This warranty is extended to the original purchaser and may be transferred or assigned. A purchase receipt or other proof of date of original purchase will be required before warranty service is rendered. If transferred, a new warranty registration must be submitted with proof of the original warranty. The new warranty will be valid for the remaining time since the original purchase. LG HI-MACS's obligation is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the products purchased hereunder, including reasonable and necessary labor charges. No other express or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are made by this warranty except for those expressly provided herein. Under no circumstances shall LG HI-MACS be liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase, use or inability to use this product, or for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages. This warranty entitles the purchaser to specific legal rights. Other rights may also be available, which may vary from state to state. Some states do not permit the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. To know what your legal rights are, consult your local or state consumer affairs office or your state's Attorney General. Please include your name, address, a description of the problem, and the phrase "HI-MACS solid surfacing material, 10 year limited warranty" in all correspondence. We will respond to all inquires within 30 days.
WARRANTY PROCEDURES
To assure timely and fair processing of any LG HI-MACS Warranty Claim, we ask that the following procedures be followed:
  1. Upon notification of a potential claim by the end user, notify the fabricator involved for his inspection.
  2. If failure is determined to be the result of improper fabrication or installation methods, request Fabricator to do any required repairs.
  3. If fabricator refuses to affect repairs or resolve complaint, turn the matter over to a qualified warranty repair fabricator for completion of the Warranty Claim Inspection Report.
  4. Return completed form and attachments to the individual within your firm authorized to make warranty determinations.
WARRANTY CLAIM REQUIREMENTS In order to facilitate the timely processing of warranty claims, the following forms and data must be provided. Once all of the elements listed are complete and returned to The Premium Solid Source, it will be determined and resolved within ten (10) business days.
  1. Complete Warranty Claim Inspection Report.
  2. Clearly indicate the scope of the problem, reason for the problem, if determined, and recommendation to resolve complaint.
  3. Attach a detailed diagram of the job layout, with problem areas locations indicated on the drawing.
  4. Include three to four close-up photos to show problem.
  5. Be certain that the repair or replacement quotation is filled in.
  6. Enclose a copy of some form of "proof of purchase." The ideal document would be a copy of the completed Warranty Card. Other acceptable forms of proof would include a receipt, or cancelled check for the original job.
